various craftROBO graphics projects

I’ve been using my favorite tool to make gifts for and width many of my friends. Here’s a small roundup of my latest:

A decal for my new roommate’s MacBook Pro. She chose the Rialto bridge in Venice, one of her favorite cities (and, since she’s been all over the world, she has lots to choose from).

These are fabric letters that I both patterned and cut one my craftROBO. They’re the first part of a collaboration with my mother that we’ve titled “Landscape of Thoughts”. More to come on this soon!

A portrait of Janis Joplin. This one was for my mother. It was my first attempt to draw on fabric. Once we found the right pens, this worked like a charm on both muslin and canvas. Hopefully she’ll be using it in one of her quilts.

A drawing of Katy’s dresses. Composed based on a picture of two dresses her mother made for her as a child, this was my first attempt at a multiple pen drawing.

Certificate of appreciation for one of my coworkers. He’s the graphics guy, and thus generally in charge of these things, but since this was for him it fell to me to design something. There are three layers, two of cut vinyl and one of ink on vellum.

Wallets for sosolimited. They’ve been in business one year now! My friend Mary and I made them paper and vinyl wallets to celebrate. We figured it was a little more personal than bringing them beer.
